Covid-19 Fitting guidance for clients

 In these unprecedented times it is of the utmost importance to us that we are undertaking all possible steps to ensure the health and welfare of our clients and fitter while performing our services as boot and cycle fitters.  

The nature of our fitting services are very hands on and require the fitter in some cases to be close to the subject in particular while undertaking bio-mechanical observations of the lower limbs and feet, foot measuring and while casting orthotics insoles.  During these essential processes your fitter will wear a visor and face mask, Nitrile examination gloves and routinely utilize hand sanitizer.  During periods of time where the fitter is not required to be in close proximity to the client we will endeavor to maintain current government guidelines for distancing.  All surfaces will be sanitized prior and following all appointments and we will be operating on a reduced schedule to ensure adequate time is allowed to undertake these steps.

Due to the limited space we occupy we kindly ask that our clients travel alone to their appointment if at all possible.  Should this be not possible then we will respectfully ask for the accompanying person/s to wait in the car or to possibly enjoy a short walk through the lovely area while we undertake the consultation.  We would also kindly ask that you bring your own mask as this severely decreases risk.  If you are unable to provide a mask BootSure  will provide a disposable mask which must be worn throughout the fitting period.  Hand sanitizer will be readily available and we will ask that you use upon arrival and as prudent throughout the fitting.

We understand that during these rapidly changing times that nature of being assessed and fitted for your equipment will change in line with government advice and safety.  We thank all of our clients in advance for helping us promote and maintain safe hygiene during your visit and for your patience and understanding.  

All consultations, fittings and assessments are by appointment only.  Due to the current Covid concern we will be scheduling appointments with enough time between each client to enable the fitting area to be sanitized and have limited daily availability.  Please contact us via our website for availability. 

Due to the limited space we have available to us we kindly ask that our clients travel alone to their appointment if at all possible.  There will be an exemption for children who can attend accompanied by one adult.  Should you not be able to travel to your appointment alone then we will respectfully request that your companion remain in the vehicle or possibly enjoy a stroll in the lovely Oxfordshire countryside which surrounds the premises for the duration of the fitting.  Should you have any concerns or special requirements then please let us know.

The nature of the services we provide will require in some instances that the fitter be within close proximity  to the client in particular while undertaking bio-mechanics assessments of the lower limbs and feet, measuring feet and casting custom made orthotic insoles.  During these periods and throughout the fitting you fitter will wear a visor, face mask and Nitrile gloves when required.

We kindly ask that all clients provide their own mask or appropriate face cover for the duration of the fitting and use the hand sanitizer provided upon arrival.  If you are unable to provide a mask we can provide a disposable mask for you.

SAFETY IS OF PARAMOUNT IMPORTANCE!  should you feel unwell before attending your scheduled consultation or have any symptoms of Covid-19 the please do not attend.  Please reschedule for a convenient time to reduce possible infection or transmission.
